How long do extensions last?
With proper home care and regular maintenance, high-quality hair extensions can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. Maintenance moves-ups are typically required every 6 to 8 weeks depending on your natural hair growth and the installation method used.
Will extensions damage my natural hair?
No! When installed correctly, sized properly for your hair's density, and maintained with the recommended at-home routine, extensions will not cause damage to your natural hair.
Can I still style and heat-style my hair normally?
Yes. You can curl, straighten, and blow-dry your extensions just like your natural hair. Always use a quality heat protectant and keep direct high heat away from the attachment points/bonds.
How often should I wash my extensions?
We recommend washing 1 to 2 times a week. Over-washing can dry out the extension hair, as it doesn't receive natural oils from your scalp.
What is a hair topper, and who is it for?
A hair topper is a targeted hairpiece designed to cover thin or sparse areas specifically on the top of the head or crown. It blends seamlessly with your existing natural hair to add volume, coverage, and height.
How does a topper stay attached?
Toppers are secured using pressure-sensitive clips that snap gently into your natural hair. For clients seeking longer-term wear, semi-permanent integrated options are also available.
Can I wash and style my topper?
Yes. Human hair toppers can be washed, blow-dried, heat-styled, and customized to match your cut and color perfectly. Because they are not worn during sleep, they require less frequent washing than natural hair (typically every 2–4 weeks).
How do I know what size or base type I need?
During your initial consultation, we measure the area of loss or thinning and assess your scalp sensitivity to select the exact base size, attachment method, and hair density for your needs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept apple pay, major credit cards, debit cards, checks and cash.
What hair care products do you use and sell?
We use L'anza products that are carefully selected for performance, bond building, and moisture balance. We can also recommend tailored home-care prescriptions to maintain your results between visits.
What if I’m running late for my appointment?
Please call or text us as soon as possible if you are running late. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to adjust your service or reschedule to avoid delaying the next scheduled client.
Where is the salon located?
We are located at 379 S Riverside Ave, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520.
Is there parking available?
Yes! We have 3 Salon M parking spots in the back lot of our building. When you pull into the parking lot they are directly to the right. Typically, they fill up fast. There is also free 4 hour parking along Benedict (where parking lot is) , 4 hour parking on Young (first right off Benedict) and 2 hour parking on Riverside.
How do I book an appointment?

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you notify us at least 24 to 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment so we can offer that time slot to another client.
Do I need a consultation before booking extensions or toppers?
Yes! An initial consultation and intake form are required for all new extension and topper clients. This allows us to assess your scalp health, custom match your hair, and discuss the best installation method for your goals.
