ABOUT ME

Welcome to Beauty x Kierstin, gorgeous! I’m Kierstin, a hairstylist at Salon M, located in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

I have been passionate about both hair and makeup for many years, and my main goal is to create a relaxing and uplifting environment, for my clients to break away from the everyday stress that life has to offer.

I began my career back in 2017 after graduating from cosmetology school. Soon after, I went on to continue my education at the Aveda Institute in NYC, as well as Scruples headquarters in Minnesota. 

Over the past 4 years of working in the heart of this industry, I’ve come to realize there is nothing more therapeutic than highlighting one of my guests and seeing their reaction when they see their reflection in the mirror. A large percentage of my clientele, are young, fashion-forward women with long hair.

On the days that I'm not behind the chair, you can find me glued to my favorite book, heading to an amazing concert with my friends, or driving to the nearest beach, no matter the season. Even as a young stylist, you would always find me styling my friends' hair before going out for every occasion. If your friend group is anything like mine... you'll definitely need some tips to keep your hair looking fabulous through any spontaneous and wild nights with the girls.

Since I recently turned 21, my latest obsession has been making twisted cocktails and serving them on ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ at the salon. If you have an appointment on any Thursday night, you’ll always have the chance to enjoy a happy hour with us!
